A Non-governmental organization "Saorsa" started a social-educational project: "Promotion of entrepreneurship and political dialogue for women living in Adjara", with the support of the USAID Economic Governance Program. Within the framework of the project, the first information meeting was held in Kedi Municipality.
The main goal of the project is to increase the interest and active participation of rural girls and women in social and inclusive entrepreneurship among young girls and women aged 22-45 living in five municipalities of Adjara (Kobuleti, Khelvachauri, Keda, Shuakhevi, Khulo). The project envisages to conduct entrepreneurship week, research in focus groups at the community level, creation of an advocacy program and organize advocacy campaign the local self-government in order to improve the socio-economic condition of the community.
