„Navigating European projects as a female leader is deeply inspiring. It requires not only technical skills, but also a strong belief in the power of collaboration across borders and a persistence for authenticity. The transnational partnership in the Erasmus+ project has proven that our values-based vision of community building — Intergenerational Learning Center “Creation resonates globally. The challenge is in the details, but the reward is seeing local action help create positive change in the global world,” shares Lia Putkaradze, Founder and CEO of Saorsa Global.
Lia recently joined an international workshop in Vigo, Spain, focused on creating intergenerational learning centers as part of an Erasmus+ project called „"Connected Generations: Educational Bridges for Inclusion and Activism"“ (Project number: 2024-1-IT02-KA210-ADU-000245628).
The final workshops were organized by the Spanish partner of the project, GDOCEby, and we are pleased to bring these advanced concepts back to enrich our work at Saorsa Global in Georgia and Poland.
Intergenerational Learning Centers are powerful spaces that bridge the gap between generations, fostering mutual understanding, sharing skills and strong community ties. The knowledge gained from this European collaboration will be crucial as we develop innovative, inclusive and sustainable projects for the communities we serve.
Thank you very much to the European Commission And Erasmus+for the financial support. Our trip became a crucial learning experience for the planning of further strategic activities.
