On February 20, the World Day of Social Justice is celebrated around the world, and in connection with this, Saorsa Global held a forum on gender equality and political dialogue in Batumi.
During the event, we talked about the achievements and experiences of the project “Political Career and Leadership of Young Girls and Women.” The project is underway in the Adjara region, and 36 women involved in it underwent a 126-hour training program, the main goal of which was to equip them with the necessary education and skills to enter the field of political leadership and management.
Participated in the forum “"Universal League"”, a socio-political movement of women leaders, with whom we held a public dialogue. The movement presented a one-year action plan based on the motives of social justice, peaceful coexistence, and creating a healthy environment.
We are glad that the forum became an interesting source of future cooperation opportunities for the public, private and non-governmental sectors that attended. The project “Political Careers and Leadership of Young Girls and Women” is financially supported by Canada in Turkey.
