Gender Equality and Policy Dialogue Forum conducted on 20th of February "World Social Justice Day" 2024 was a true manifestation of support and success achieved throughout the project Promoting Rural Women’s Political Leadership and Decision Making in Adjara Region “Modeling the Path for Regional Gender Equality”. This day marked as successful regional event where 132 attendees enjoyed the forum activities. The agenda was designed to include all four elements of communication process: increase of awareness on new social movement Universals’ League; invited experts have shared experience in relation to gender equality and social justice in Georgia, building motivation – inspirational talks delivered by the women politicians, civic activists and movement leaders from Tbilisi, Guria Imereti and Adjara region; building partnerships with private sector (tourism and food & Restaurant) sector who have made their donation to the event.
Project Goal was to advance professional and specialized skills of 36 young rural girls and women in political leadership and management through organized Regional Political Leadership Academy, Established Rural Women-led Political Movement, Career Mentorship and Simulated Self-Government Election Speech Program in Adjara Region.
The forum was a networking opportunity for the participants from the public, private and non-governmental sectors to build prospective partnerships.
