The Executive Director of SAORSA, Lia Phutkaradze, received an expert certificate from the “Events for Future” – Sustainable Events Management course. Within the framework of the ten-month course, participants studied the principles of organizing sustainable events and gained valuable knowledge that will contribute to the spread of sustainable development ideas in the region. It is noteworthy that for the first time in Georgia, SAORSA has introduced a sustainable events policy document, which is available to all interested organizations and people in our website.
“Events for Future” is organized by IBB gGmbH within the framework of the project “Strengthening Civil Society in the Eastern Partnership Countries”, implemented by GIZ, funded by BMZ and co-financed by the European Union.
